NPTE Practice Questions

NPTE Practice Questions

There are 182 questions here (nearly a full exam, which is 250 questions for PTs). More will be added until all of the categories are represented here. I will also be adding a version for PTAs. Click here to learn more about the NPTE and how we came up with the number of questions in each category.

Musculoskeletal Examination

This quiz will assess your knowledge of musculoskeletal examination. There are 26 questions and you will have 32 minutes to complete it (when you take the real NPTE, you will have 1.2 minutes per question and there should be about 26 questions on this topic).

Musculoskeletal Evaluation

This quiz will assess your knowledge of musculoskeletal evaluation. There are 23 questions and you will have 28 minutes to complete it (when you take the real NPTE, you will have 1.2 minutes per question and there should be about 23 questions on this topic).

Musculoskeletal Interventions

This quiz will assess your knowledge of musculoskeletal interventions. There are 22 questions and you will have 27 minutes to complete it (when you take the real NPTE, you will have 1.2 minutes per question and there should be about 22 questions on this topic).

Neuromuscular Examination

This quiz will assess your knowledge of neuromuscular examination. There are 21 questions and you will have 26 minutes to complete it (when you take the real NPTE, you will have 1.2 minutes per question and there should be about 21 questions on this topic).

Neuromuscular Evaluation

This quiz will assess your knowledge of neuromuscular evaluation. There are 19 questions and you will have 23 minutes to complete it (when you take the real NPTE, you will have 1.2 minutes per question and there should be about 19 questions on this topic).

Neuromuscular Interventions

This quiz will assess your knowledge of neuromuscular interventions. There are 20 questions and you will have 24 minutes to complete it (when you take the real NPTE, you will have 1.2 minutes per question and there should be about 20 questions on this topic).

Cardiopulmonary Examination

This quiz will assess your knowledge of cardiopulmonary examination. There are 10 questions and you will have 12 minutes to complete it (when you take the real NPTE, you will have 1.2 minutes per question and there should be about 10 questions on this topic).

Cardiopulmonary Evaluation

This quiz will assess your knowledge of cardiopulmonary evaluation. There are 10 questions and you will have 12 minutes to complete it (when you take the real NPTE, you will have 1.2 minutes per question and there should be about 10 questions on this topic).

Cardiopulmonary Intervention

This quiz will assess your knowledge of cardiopulmonary intervention. There are 11 questions and you will have 14 minutes to complete it (when you take the real NPTE, you will have 1.2 minutes per question and there should be about 11 questions on this topic). 

Gastrointestinal System

This quiz will assess your knowledge of the gastrointestinal system as it relates to the provision of physical therapy. There are 6 questions and you will have 8 minutes to complete it (when you take the real NPTE, you will have 1.2 minutes per question and there should be about 6 questions on this topic).

Genitourinary System

This quiz will assess your knowledge of the genitourinary system as it relates to the provision of physical therapy. There are 7 questions and you will have 9 minutes to complete it (when you take the real NPTE, you will have 1.2 minutes per question and there should be about 7 questions on this topic).
